The Best Goulash
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 cans (15 ounces each) diced tomatoes
2 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
3 cups elbow macaroni
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and bell pepper to the pot. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, paprika, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Once boiling, add the elbow macaroni. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through.
Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
Serve hot and enjoy this hearty dish!
