mid-autumn festival looks very different for me this year 🙂

when I say mooncake season *breaks* me each year, I kid you not, I question my life choices after making thousands of these again and again. I’ve decided to prioritize my physical and mental health this year and am not making mooncakes 🥮🥳 instead, I have three VERY EXCITING things instead—

1) I’ve made a mid autumn festival inspired bonbon set 🌙 they feel so festive, pretty, and make me so happy 💯 got my parents’ stamp of approval for taste too 👌🏻
2) I’m doing a collab for the festival with Little Moon Bakehouse ⭐️ my black sesame and osmanthus moon and star shaped bonbons will be available in the set 🙂‍↕️
3) I couldn’t let go of the idea of mooncakes completely SO, I will be offering limited mooncake making classes with Airbnb Experiences at Grand Central Market 🕺🏻 we will making a variation of the snowskin mooncakes I made last year! the dates have just been posted—9/13 & 9/18 👀 you can book them through the same link as my cake decorating classes 🎉

Happy Father’s Day to my husband Justin 🤍 he was my number one supporter when I wanted to go to culinary school and has been there through all the dishwashing, long and hot hours for events, farmers markets, wedding deliveries—you name it 🥹😭 and when I wanted to attend the occasional *fun* but *still work* events like cake picnic 😂🤣 thank you 🤍🤍🤍
