Marry Me Chicken Bowtie Pasta ππ
π Ingredients:
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 (10 oz) package bowtie pasta
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for garnish
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1οΈβ£ Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2οΈβ£ Season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and half of the Italian seasoning.
3οΈβ£ Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5β7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
4οΈβ£ In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sautΓ© for 3β4 minutes until soft and translucent.
5οΈβ£ Stir in the garlic and chopped red bell pepper. Cook for another 2β3 minutes until fragrant and slightly tender.
6οΈβ£ Add the sun-dried tomatoes, remaining Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine.
7οΈβ£ Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes while scraping up the flavorful browned bits from the skillet.
8οΈβ£ Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer gently for 2β3 minutes until the sauce becomes rich, creamy, and slightly thickened.
9οΈβ£ Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with the cooked bowtie pasta. Toss everything together until fully coated in the creamy Parmesan sauce.
π Garnish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan cheese. Serve hot while the sauce is silky, creamy, and perfectly melted around the pasta.
