Tequila Ocho is the only SINGLE ESTATE TEQUILA on the market that harvests its agaves from different single estates at different altitudes in different micro climates – delivering vintages of tequila that differ in aroma and flavor one from the other, while still retaining Ocho’s distinguishable identity.

“Terroir” is a French concept, often used in the w**e culture that states that grapes take unique and distinctive characteristics from all the natural influences surrounding them. THE ESSENCE OF TEQUILA OCHO is “TERROIR” meaning that each harvest of agaves originates from a single field and yields distinctly different flavor nuances - thus proving that “Terroir”’ exists in the agave and tequila, as it does with the grape in w**emaking. Because it takes our agaves 7-10 years to mature, each vintage will only be seen once a decade making each one rare and collectible. We are the first brand to bring this concept to market and have done so to demonstrate the incredible depth and breadth of flavor and aroma the agave brings to tequila.

Puntas returns after two years, and for the first time as a vintage of Terroir Select, a tequila shaped by agaves grown across five neighboring highland fields in the Río Lerma zone.

As with every Ocho release, the vintage tells a story. Here, soil, season, and a treasured cut of distillation reveal Río Lerma from a new perspective. Guava, green pineapple and kiwi lead into a palate of cooked agave, lemon peel, sour orange and tamarind. Ripe pineapple and subtle smoke add depth, while eucalyptus and menthol linger on the finish.

Puntas has long held a special place at Ocho. Coveted, limited, and traditionally reserved by the distiller for moments worth celebrating, each release offers a rare taste from the heart of distillation.

This year, Puntas finds new ground with its first Terroir Select release, crafted from Highland agaves grown across five fields within the Río Lerma zone, where Jalisco meets Michoacán.

The nose opens with bright guava, green pineapple, kiwi and white pepper. On the palate, cooked agave gives way to lemon peel, sour orange, and taramind and a quiet trace of smoke throughout. The result is a rare expression of place, captured at the heart of distillation.

Daisy & Mirate brought the spirit of LA, Ocho & Oysters gathered us around the table, and each night, new and familiar faces filled our Casa with conversation, music, and glasses raised together.

Looking back on these past few weeks, it comes down to something simple: good tequila, good company, and moments worth worth looking back on.

Since opening, Casa de Ocho has become a place to gather, taste, listen, and share.

Oysters met a pour of Ocho, coffee met its companion in tequila, and music carried through the room as we raised our glasses. Every moment found its perfect pairing, but our favorite of all was the simplest: Ocho and good company. And there’s plenty room for more.
