Best New Mezcal. 🏆

When my mom and I started this journey, we didn’t have a business plan. We had a feeling we had bottled lightening đŸ’«. We had mezcaleros in Oaxaca who’ve been doing this for generations, using the same ancestral methods their families passed down. We had a name that means “soul magic” because that’s what we believe is in every bottle.

This award belongs to them. To the hands that harvest the agave. To the fire that roasts it. To the patience that lets it ferment. To the tradition that refuses to cut corners.

Two years ago, this was a dream we were scared to say out loud. Today, it’s Best New Mezcal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. SF World Spirits Competition

It’s the glow of the underground oven where the agave hearts roast for days. It’s the flame that transforms earth to spirit. It’s what our maestros mezcaleros have tended for generations.

Last year, our Tobalá earned Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. We thought it couldn’t get better.

This year, Lumbre followed.
