Cooking Korean fried chicken after my 9-5๐Ÿ—โœจ

Been a minute since I cookedโ€ฆ but I was craving some Korean fried chicken & decided to make a healthier version in my air fryer! It was so good yall ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

RECIPE ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
5 chicken thighs
1/4 cup corn or potato starch
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp gochujang
1/2 tbsp gochugaru (exclude if you donโ€™t want it as spicy)
1/2 tbsp water
1/2 tbsp soy sauce

1. Pat chicken thighs dry, cut into bite sized pieces, and lightly season with salt and pepper
2. Toss in chicken pieces in starch (use more if needed)
3. Spray or coat both sides in oil and air fry for 15 minutes at 400F. Flip halfway!
4. Mix together the sauce in a pan or wok and heat until it starts to bubble
5. Toss in fried chicken pieces until evenly coated

I loooove Korean rice balls ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ™ They are called ์ฃผ๋จน๋ฐฅ (jumeokbap) in Korean and are iconic childhood food, my mom used to pack them for lunch in school lol

These are made with stir fried anchovies and spinach banchan I made earlier!

Trying the viral Korean diet recipe ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Been seeing this pop up on my feed recently so I decided to give it a try since all I had at home was napa cabbage, canned tuna, and some condiments ๐Ÿ˜… with d**g foods scallion oil!

RECIPE ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
1 head of baby napa cabbage
1 can tuna
2 tbsp ssamjang (mine is from )
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 tbsp corn syrup, oligo syrup, or honey
1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
1/4 onion (optional)

1. Blanch or steam napa cabbage (adjust serving size to however many slices you want)
2. Mix the rest of the ingredients together
3. Wrap into rolls or assemble as you eat!
