🏎️We are getting ready for the Zucchini Car races this Sunday! Here are some tips for building a car the day of the race!
Building a car at market:
1)🏁 Find a zucchini from a farm at market
2)🛞Head over to Wheels & Axels. Here our race team will assist with the installation
3)🎨 Decorate & Customize the car with materials provided at the Pit Stop
4)📣Register & Name your race car by 10:45am

Building a car at home:
1) Make sure your car is built according to the rules (see Comments for details). We will have wheels and axels available if needed the morning of the race
2)Register car by 10:45am

Make sure to arrive with plenty of time to create your race car. Race starts at 11am and all cars must be registered before the race begins.

Did you know that Smiling Oranges also has orange popsicles? It's always nice to have a healthy cold dessert option in the freezer, especially during the summer months! Made with 100% fresh squeezed orange juice, these are so delicious and the perfect sweet treat. Children and people of all ages love these! Simple, delicious and nutritious! That's what we call a win win 😉. You can find them at market on Sundays from 9am-1pm

🏁 The Zucchini Car Races are returning to the Los Gatos Farmers' Market Sunday, June 21st!

🛞Build a zucchini car at market the day of the race or bring a build from home.

Let your creativity and engineering skills flow and build an epic zucchini race car! We will provide decorating materials and wheels for anyone who would like to build their car at market!

👍⏰Arrive early so there is plenty of time to build your race car and check in before the race. It can be busy, so give yourselves plenty of time.

1. Buy a zucchini from a farm at market
2. Start with Wheels and Axels
3. Decorate & customize car
4. Name & register car
5. Race starts at 11am

🏁Zucchini Race Car Rules:
🏎️ The zucchini car must not be wider than 6.5 inches with wheels & no longer than 16 inches
🏎️ No weights or motorized devices
🏎️ Zucchini must be farm fresh (from farmers' market or locally grown
🏎️ The axle of the car must go through the zucchini

Stop by market early, buy a zucchini, decorate and transform your zucchini at the Pit Stop, where they can add wheels and accessorize their very own race car

Store bought oj will never taste the same.They have delicious fresh citrus varieties as well! Make sure to try a sample of their juices on your next outing to market or cool down with a orange popsicle.
