It started out as an ordinary Monday…
I was thinking, tonight is going too well.
THEN, my grill cook cuts the tip of his thumb pretty bad.
It was a pretty deep cut, although he was wearing a cut glove. But, the cut glove had a hole in it. Yes, I had a talk with my grill cook about using a cut glove with a hole in it, it doesn’t make sense.
I don’t get how young people today do not know what to do when they get cut. They think that they hold a paper towel on their finger for 10 seconds and it magically stops. They keep looking at it and continues to bleed. When I tell them to sit down and apply pressure to the wound, they hold it for 20 seconds and then tells me it’s still bleeding… SMH
Since I had my managerial duties tonight AND now having to cook, do his injury on the job California paperwork, and serve customers.
WTF!
So, finally after work, it was time to eat at 1:40 am.
Huevos Rancheros
at Lucy’s Drive In in Los Angeles.
With fried eggs served on a lightly fried corn tortilla with refried beans, rice, slices of avocado, and salsa.
I wouldn’t say it makes up for the long night at work,
but at least I get to have breakfast at 2 am.
I hope Tuesday night isn’t as eventful…
