A love letter to Abril 🤍

Abril is the head chef and culinary director for Salt & Stone catering. Bril is a consummate professional chef with more than a decade of experience from Michelin-starred restaurants and world-class bars to her own pop-ups and creative endeavors from the Bay Area to Mexico City.  

As Culinary Director, she brings both precision and creativity to the forefront, uniting refined technique with a meticulous eye for detail. She crafts experiences and meals that are at once elegant, contemporary, and also deeply rooted in culinary heritage. Punchy, bright, flavorful and balanced, just how we like it around here.

Hey there, I’m Tana. Lots of new faces around here lately, so I wanted to reintroduce myself 🤍

I’m the founder and executive chef behind Salt & Stone Catering. I’ve spent over 20 years working everywhere from restaurants and boutique catering to personal & private chef work, travel chef services, and large scale events.

One of our favorite clients once called me an “impresario” which honestly felt pretty fitting. Like a conductor, I love bringing all the moving pieces together from detailed planning and ex*****on to creating the feeling, flow, and vibe of an event.

I officially launched Salt & Stone Catering in 2017 after the natural progression of private chef work turned into catering. I have now comprised a team of friends who just happen to be the literal best in the industry as the core team and we have evolved together to create something I believe to be truly special. I look forward to sharing more of them as well.

Outside of work, you can find me in the mountains with my son and golden retrievers, near the water, at comedy clubs or concerts or with friends & family over good food and drinks.

A love note to Lily 🤍

If you’ve attended an event with us, chances are you’ve experienced a little bit of Lily magic.

Her official title is front-of-house manager and client & partner relations specialist, but Lily wears a lot of hats. Table stylist, florist, detail-diva, wine specialist, problem solver, and positivity cheerleader. She is our resident “nice mom” and we are all grateful for her!
