Lots to do and lots of love for Spring 🌞😎Mild weather and an ambitious garden have made for some memorable meals. The cooler temps keep vineyard work flowing, and it has been just warm enough to allow even and healthy growth. The vines are starting to flower and the wild grasses are slowly switching over to their golden summer gowns. Summer is on the horizon and things are looking great!

Love seeing small producers make the big lists. Big shout out to you all, we see you!

Woke up yesterday to congratulatory texts and for a second, I thought I might still be dreaming. I looked over at Avery and laughed out loud, “Holy $ #!+, we are # 13 on the Top 50 wines of 2024.”

Congratulations to everybody who helped us get to these moments. Santa Barbara County and the people who drive this industry are what got us here. Everybody involved…from our friends and families, our mentors, vineyard owners, farming crews, wine loving customers, Modelo distributors, and the spirit of the land itself…we raise a glass to you!

Special thank you to R.H. Drexel and 🥂This is a great way to top off 2024 and we’re thrilled about what 2025 has in store for Sea Creatures and Là Bas.

Some all nighters and early, cold mornings, hot windy afternoons, sticky surfaces, sweaty dusty messy messes and truck seats, a happy tired dog, burritos and bee stings (up the shirt over the weekend)…all in the name of some grapes we love. Gimme more of everything except the bee stings, please.
