Happy birthday Zach! You’re the face of the franchise and an absolute privilege to work with. We couldn’t imagine doing it without you. Watching someone do something they genuinely enjoy, are good at and have dedicated their careers to, has been one of the true highlights in our companies history. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 10 years since you called us asking to work a harvest while you figured things out. We are beyond fortunate that figuring things out in your life included being a major part of our little winery. Happy birthday bru.

8 year anniversary of our tasting room! Wow how the time flies. We were so eager to get open that the paint was literally still drying, the walls didn’t have anything hanging on them and we literally didn’t even have a sign. We hadn’t started on the landscaping and hadn’t even thought about a dishwasher. None of that slowed us down or really concerned us. We were so excited about opening something that we had poured years of our lives into creating. Getting to what we viewed as a starting point, the day we could open, required every ounce of energy and dollar we had. The fact that we would have to take every glass home to hand wash in our sink for the first few months we were open because we couldn’t afford a dishwasher was a minor detail. The last eight years have certainly not been easy. The list of challenges has been frankly quite long. But man are we proud of this little business. It’s authentically us. There is no board of directors or wealthy investors. We joke that if you email our company contact email it goes to every manager and owner in the company. All three of us. We still get the same thrill whenever someone walks through the door. Whether it’s your 1st time or 101st tjme, we are beyond grateful that people want to come spend time in our humble establishment. Thank you to everyone who has ever supported us. Not only financially but also verbally. We wouldn’t be here with out you and we do not take that for granted. Now onward to the next 8 years.

Yesterday was the last day of harvest. We celebrated with a lunch at the winery with our families and crew. Don’t let the look on everyone’s face fool you. It really was a fun day. We promise.

Yesterday was special. A massive thank you to Chef Rob . What started a couple of years ago as, “hey I want to make a harvest lunch for you guys.” Has grown into a tradition we look forward to each harvest. Rob pulls out all the stops and asks for nothing in return. Oysters, surf and turf burgers, salads and plenty of wine and beers to go along with it. Needless to say lunch lasted a few hours. We always welcome a brief pause during the harvest grind to enjoy a slow afternoon. Thank you

Thank you Elle! The last two summers (and part of fall) we have been blessed to have Elle as a part of the crew. She now heads back to Europe for one more semester of school. She will then stay to teach. We are sad to see her go but happy for her. It was amazing to see the amount of customers that made it a point to squeeze in trip to come up and say goodbye before she left. A true testament to her ability to connect with people and be a real joy to be around. We will miss you Elle. Come back for a celebrity pourer weekend sometime in the future….. oh and the rest of the guys in the photo- you guys are pretty good too.

Happy Birthday, Bru!

People often say they couldn’t imagine working in a family business, let alone with their brother. It’s the opposite for me; I couldn’t imagine doing this with anyone else. You make every decision with others in mind, never yourself, and that’s only become clearer as we’ve both gotten married, started families, and life has gotten hectic.

You have the rare ability to look five years into the future while still being fully present in the moment. It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day and lose sight of where we’ve been and where we’re going, but you chart the course and handle the headwinds like a breeze. You don’t complain about the problems; you take them in stride with a quiet strength.

Taking some time to reflect while writing this, I realize how much confidence it gives me to have you as both my brother and my business partner. I know you’ll always have my back and support me.

We are brothers that happen to have a business together, and for that, I am thankful.

Happy Birthday!

We are proud of our tasting room and love to see photos people take while visiting. We are constantly surprised at how often the photo is taken from a perspective we have never seen before. Even though we have spent thousands of hours there, it is unique to the person who took it and often of something they liked or thought was unique enough to take a photo of. Its similar to the wines we make in that people each see things from a different perspective which are shaped by experiences and preferences. This series of shots was taken by and showcases this thought perfectly.

Happy birthday Greg!
We started this business as brothers, it evolved into one ran friends, and currently stands as one I get to work alongside someone I look up to. ‘What would Greg do?’ is a question I ask myself daily. To own a business 50/50 with someone like him is a blessing and a privilege. This is one of my favorite photos of Greg. Obviously not because of the quality of the photo (or subject…), but because it shows Greg during harvest in 2017 in the thick of it. It could very well could have been at 3 in the morning when everything in the winery is going wrong, or 3 in the afternoon when things are sailing along smoothly - and you would never know based on Greg’s face. Thumbs up. I got it. If it required him to sleep at the winery two days in a row- he’s got it. The rarity in all of this is that the next day he would never say it to you. You wouldn’t even know he’s going on 21 hours straight - His attitude remains the same. He wouldn’t make it seem like you owe him or that you aren’t pulling your weight. He wouldn’t want to be praised as the hero. When asked, he would say something like- if this was your portion of the business to be responsible, you would do the exact same…. And then keep working.
