A beautiful cluster of clone 459 pinot noir in the Sta. Rita Hills. As you can see despite the strong wind this site sees we got a nice set this year and the berries are about done sizing up. Now we wait for signs of verasion where the berries begin to change color. During verasion the berries will start accumulating sugar and the acidity will decrease.
