Violet is the last Chumash person born in Avila Beach at home on the family owned apple ranch. Her family has a long 200 year history of farming Apples but more importantly the family lived off the land, grew their own food, hunted, fished, and honored the amazing place we live. Violet is 7 generation beekeeper whose roots trace back to the Chumash vaquero, rancher and name sake for Lopez Lake. I

n her own words "We have been a part of the community on the central coast going back thousands of years there is nothing more important to me than the coast which is why our business gives back to the community and is dedicated to protecting the coast. " Our business is growing into a full service health food store for 2015 featuring other like minded locals dedicated to organic and "made in a good way products" from our friends around the community.
