Casa Rondeña Winery was lovingly established in late 1995 as a family undertaking, with the first plantings in 1990 at the hands of vintner John Calvin. The Tasting Room opened in August 1997 and a winery building, with a commemorative Tricentennial bell tower (picture right), was completed in the autumn of 2004. In 2008, a new barrel aging and storage facility, including the Founder's Rotunda, wa

s built in order to expand production capability of the winery and hold special events for winery members and special guests. Calvin moved out of the home he built on the property and turned it into the 1629 Club. This is our flagship level of membership to the winery, which includes access to the private club among many other benefits. The Tasting Room and winery is open to the public daily from 12 noon until 7 PM.

One of our favorite traditions of the year is almost here! We’ll gather bright and early to harvest the vineyard together, roll up our sleeves, and celebrate the fruits of our hard work.

After the harvest, stick around for a well-earned afternoon of delicious BBQ, Casa Rondeña wine, live bluegrass music, and great company as we celebrate another beautiful harvest with our community.

Check-in begins at 7:30 AM.

Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing place to unwind after a long day, we have something for everyone. Enjoy a wine flight, small charcuterie plates, and light snacks while taking in the peaceful ambiance of our pond and grounds.

🌿 Bring the whole family and explore! Keep an eye out for our resident mama duck and her adorable ducklings, along with turtles, frogs, and other little surprises around the pond. You might even turn your visit into a fun little scavenger hunt!
