JW FINALLY DID IT!! 🏆❤️ He won his first buckle!
We went into this show not really expecting a win — we just wanted it SO badly for JW to get that Breed Champion title so he could finally earn his buckle. Well… Rose and JW decided to do a little more than that! 😂
They ended the day with:
🏆 1st in Shorthorn Class
🏆 Shorthorn Breed Champion
🏆 British Drive Champion
🏆 Reserve Overall
Poor Rose was shown 9 or 10 times by the end of the day after JW, Rex, and I all decided to do showmanship too. 😂 That girl definitely earned her dinner and a long nap!
I also want to give a shoutout to Tori, the young lady who was Reserve Shorthorn and Reserve British. You are one heck of a showman, but what impressed us even more was how respectful and gracious you were. It was a pleasure showing alongside you!
And a HUGE thank you to Lazy B Cattle Company for allowing us to be part of your show family and, most importantly, for allowing us to purchase Rose. ❤️ We knew she was special, but getting to watch her help JW earn his very first buckle is something we won’t forget.
JW has wanted this one BAD, and seeing that buckle in his hands made every bit of the work worth it.
JW + Rose — BUCKLE WINNERS! 🏆🐮❤️
