For discussion, 15 Katahdin/St. Croix ewe lambs (born Late April and early May) and 5 open yearling ewes, all of which had lambs in April/May. Our flock is raised in a forage only rotational system. Lambs are born and raised on pasture, with guard dogs. Our sheep are trained to hi-tensile, 3 strand poly-wite and electric netting. We expect our ewes and rams to perform without added feed and our lambs to finish on pasture with no added feed. Sires of the ewe lambs are registered Katahdin rams, whose sires participated in the VA Tech forage-based performance test. We cull hard for maternal instincts and worm resistance. Located south of Knoxville in east Tennessee. Message for further information and additional pictures.
