People ask all the time how the piglets are and how the tiny one is. I got some pics and videos while they were nursing. As you can see she is doing pretty good and getting help from her siblings to reach the ni**le that is furthest out of her reach. She is feisty, as I was watching hem nurse one knocked her off to steal her ni**le she went right after it push g her way on. We have also added a little milk replacer to help out and they are now trying it out

10 total babies, Kayla just went out and counted 6 girls 4 boys. There are 2 runts. One is super tiny and born having trouble walking now she is quite feisty and fighting for food she may just beat the odds only time will tell. So far all are doing well but we know things can change quickly in the first week or so.

Kayla called it when she went to bed last night. She said “I bet she will go around 2 am” Igot up to check cameras at 2:15 and there were 3 on the ground. Guess she knows her girl

Meredith is due tomorrow and we were not 100% sure she was bred but pretty much positive she is having bavbies with her actions over the last few hours. She is in nesting mode and had brought multiple sticks and trees into her pen . Kayla has pulled so much out of her pen but she just keeps dragging things in. Oh yes and she also found an old grain bag that she is pretty mad at. Lol

Amara for piglet watch is up and down running

Been a hot minute since we had a litter. Kayla wanted to breed her guilt from last year. Still not 100 % positive she is bred but like 95%. It does look like she has some Mammary development starting 🤞🏻 . Here are some pics of belly rubs and sow house prep. The creep has been revamped. A new heating system put in and the cameras are up and running. She does like her belly rubs but boy is she the least graceful thing when she flops over. Meredith is due on Wednesday . Any guesses to date, time and how many she will ?
