Ok disregard the cut off muzzle. Whoops! First attempt at pageant practice does’t always go smoothly. She is still just so lovely though. This is Royal Cedars Villanelle (any other Killing Eve fans here?). She is a Vanilla Bean daughter!

I’ve followed and loved his grand dam CH Royal Cedars Tove Lo VEEE91 for years now. Messaged Melanie last year about a daughter and she ended up retaining both! Both those girls kidded twin bucks this year and Teton (who placed 3rd in her junior class at nationals) gave us Hidden Meadows TJ Versace here! He is a total love bug and I anticipate making some experimentals with him as well! The wattles y’all 😍😍😍

Some of my most favorite adventures have been in pursuit of goats. I’ve been to TN twice for goats, CT, MD twice, PA, NJ and now NC! We had some stellar meals at The Fishin’ Pig, Juicy Lucy’s and Cootie Brown’s (rightfully famous key-lime pie). I can now say with total confidence that NC’s bbq is better than TN’s 👀. The BEST latte and blueberry cheesecake was had at Sweets N’ Seats in Asheville. Our stay at https://www.sweetjanesmadco.com/ was completely off grid and the most welcome time to unplug and reconnect with nature. That Prince painting is 5x5 and done entirely with spray paint by TREK6 😱 I wanted it SO BAD for our music room!! Then we hiked a mountain for Tarot, Teas and Trees! We’re coming back home a little plumper, a lot more relaxed, toting heavy duty VA-illegal explosives, and two of the sweetest most beautiful babies. Intros to follow!

I have three days off from milking for the first time in over a year!! Started the break by heading to a barrel race in Lexington yesterday and today we are headed to NC to bring home two very special additions!! A daughter of the doe pictured below and a grandson of a doe I’ve adored and followed for years now! Pics to come. Stay tuned y’all! ♥️🐐

SOLD

Y’all this is Eeyore. 407 is a SUPER friendly steer trapped in a beefcake body. He lives for scratches and is ALWAYS the one holding up the rear at move time because he’d rather hang out with us than with his other moo buds. We are making him available because I am cow-soft and don’t want to make this one into a steak. Video in comments. 1.5 years old 2️⃣5️⃣🥕🥕

Every year there is one kid that absolutely steals my heart. Peewee is the smiling goat from a few posts back. He was a “whoops” baby. My giant Lamancha buck bred one of my smaller Nigerians. A big mistake that could have ended badly. That sweet girl had twin boys and then when they were just 3 weeks old died from cherry laurel poisoning. Peewee looks something like a mix between a monkey and an ostrich and adamantly refused a bottle. He would have rather died than take it. I had to let him nurse another doe on the milk stand daily. He would literally reach up to be picked up like a toddler and carried over 🤣He has the sweetest personality and while I am sad to see him go, he won the lotto with his new mama!
