El Sueño Acres Homestead 🌿 shared a recipe for Cowboy Candy with me a few weeks ago.

I finally got around to making a small test batch last week, and over the weekend, we opened a jar.

It's spicy, for sure. But oddly delicious, and I went back for more. (I'm not a fan of too much heat.)

Today, I added some to my tacos, and it was quite delicious. Except for that mouthful that had a tad too much....

I may still prefer pepper jelly, but this is still pretty darn delicious.

New products coming to E. B. Mercantile this week!

Herbal Styptic Powder made with yarrow and plantain. Styptic powders are wonderful for stopping the bleeding of minor cuts, scrapes, and wounds. These are pet, chicken, and livestock safe, so they're wonderful to have around the homestead.
