I let the girls out to pasture yesterday evening. The didn’t know where they wanted to go at first. They were so happy frolicking around. The little merry gang of goats was happy to have sheep back out there with them. They were jumping in and out of the food trough playing king of the mountain. It’s was great to just sit in the truck in the field watching everyone play.

Due to incoming projection of drought for Virginia and already buys over 150 round bales this year, I will be offering up goats and sheep to approved homes. Most are older and aren’t breeding stock. They would be field ornaments. They are great at keeping weeds down. All sheep are wool sheep and would need to be sheared every year but are very hardy on little to no grain. 

We have decided to name her Ophelia! After opal and Taylor Swifts new song, because she is so showy ❤️
