In addition to riding and training show horses, Jocelyn works with young horses, coaches clients, catch rides, and deals in sales. John had great success in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings throughout his junior riding career, as well as many wins on-the-line and in the saddle during his professional career. He has handed the reins over to Jocelyn and she handles all the riding responsibilities, while he continues to train horses and coach clients, and scout for talented hunter/jumper/equitation prospects both nationally and internationally. Cameron Hill is located in Green Springs, an unincorporated and historic community in Louisa, Virginia. Situated in the heart of Virginia hunt country, Cameron Hill boasts beautiful views of rolling pastures and protected land spotted with deer, foxes, eagles, and hawks. The farm is bordered on all sides with mature trees and shrubs and is set back on the property to provide complete privacy from neighbors and roads and highways. However, Cameron Hill is still centrally located with close access to Route 22, Route 15, Route 64, and is approximately 45 minutes from I-95 and an hour and half from both I-81 and I-66. The farm is minutes from Zion’s Crossroads and downtown Gordonsville where you can find quaint restaurants and antique shopping on Main St., and only 25-45 minutes from the Keswick, Pan Tops, and Charlottesville areas. The 51 acre farm includes a spacious center aisle 12 stall barn with wall to wall stall mats in each stall and a climate controlled office, lounge, tack room, and full bathroom. Additionally, all stalls are equipped with mounted basket fans designed specifically for agricultural use with completely closed motors with sealed ball bearings.
