This update is about two weeks old lol but it’s still worth watching! More to come. We have a really exciting new elevated farm experience… Have you seen the previews to the new Sheep Detective movie starring Hugh Jackman? Imagine watching that adorable movie with your children surrounded by our lambs! Here’s a link I’ll leave it right here!

We’re wanting our driveway farm stand to be Robin egg Blue. Now you have to choose the wallpaper color? Anybody want to chime in their opinion?

We have the friendliest chickens on our farm! And because they’re not shy at all, they are constantly begging for snacks! We love them, our guests, love them, and their eggs are absolutely delicious!

✨ Golden hour on the farm never disappoints. ✨
There was something truly magical about this maternity session. As the golden light settled across the fields, it wrapped around every beautiful curve of this mama-to-be, highlighting the sweet baby bump that holds so much promise for the future.
Watching Mommy, Daddy, and Big Brother eagerly await the arrival of their newest family member was such a special reminder of how precious these seasons of life are. The love, anticipation, and excitement were evident in every moment we captured together.
I feel incredibly fortunate to preserve memories like these—moments that pass so quickly but deserve to be remembered forever. Soon, this little bundle of joy will be in their arms, and these images will tell the story of the beautiful journey that brought them here.
💛 Thank you for allowing me to capture this precious chapter of your family's story.

I’ve always loved my job! Do I love it a little bit more now that so many are enjoying the farm with me? Absolutely! I love sharing what we built here on the farm with my clients. After all, it’s all my amazing clients that helped build me.
If you’re looking for a fun, family activity for this summer, you found it! Plus, it’s a photo shoot. Your kids will actually look forward to, maybe even your partner too! Melissa Oliver

We need your help naming the new Lamb!

This is Baby and her baby, our first Lamb of the season. There are likely to be 6-7 more! Depending on how many of these ewes have twins. Yes, I know 67!!! lol We named Baby after my husband‘s favorite movie dirty dancing? I think it only makes sense to name the baby Johnny or Johnny Junior after Patrick Swayze‘s character. They are as you can see thick as thieves! However, my boys and some family have really liked Batman for his name since he is dark as night. And since we are going to have many more lambs, maybe we should name them all after superheroes? So I’m coming to you friends, to help me name our little one. Please comment below if you like Johnny, or naming all the sheep after superheroes. This might help… Drew Barrymore, one of our original sheep had two daughters and we named them after our two favorite Drew Barrymore characters. They are each pregnant so naming them might be a challenge if we continue down the Drew Barrymore line. Please comment below!

the winner goes too… first time mama, Baby! Baby was our surprise Lamb last year but this year she gave us our first Lamb of the season last night. We found her laying down and when I approached her, she jumped up and ran off and I could see that something was coming out of her. She was in the middle of labor. We thought we had another week. We just weren’t ready. Luckily I had my phone on me and called my husband and boys for help. They rushed to the rescue. We shuffled the sheep up to the house, kicked Biggie out of his pen and closed all six of our ewes in close. It was almost 11 o’clock by the time we got her settled. We watched her labor for almost an hour with the baby already peeking out. I had to go in and help. Luckily Q was right behind me because I needed him to hold her while I helped her when she pushed. We were really scared for her, but with a little help, we safely helped her deliver her Lamb. Q said he is black as night! Not a speck of white on him. Our little herd of sheep is going to more than double in size. And it’s happening fast and we are not ready! But here goes…
