To all of our customers and business contacts,

Unfortunately, we have dissolved Tastin' Jamaican as a company because we can no longer produce our salsa and haven't found anyone yet that can produce according to our expected standards. We could not afford to continue paying all of the costs to keep the business registered and keep the website up, so we are taking this step. However, we are hoping it won't be permanent. We know our product was great, and it was a good business for 10 years!

We still have some of our Mild and Pumpkin Spice Mild salsa on hand, so if you'd like some of it, you can contact me at the number or email below, or buy online at https://tastin-jamaican-salsa.square.site. Our TastinJamaican.com emails will no longer be valid.

Earth Day is April 22...

One way to save our Earth is to wear a 4 Ocean bracelet. We support 4 Ocean's mission to clean up the waterways and beaches and partner with them to sell these bracelets.

Over the past two years, a lot has happened with small businesses struggling through a pandemic. Unfortunately, our business is no exception. We had supply chain issues, lack of access to a production facility, and our own health issues.

We decided to contract with a local co-packer who agreed to produce our salsa with fresh local ingredients and in the same manner in which we produced it for 9 years, in hopes that we could have a seamless transition with no production interruptions. However, after several runs, it was apparent that shortcuts were being made, and when addressed, they simply decided to no longer produce our salsa.

The unique, delicious flavor of Tastin' Jamaican has earned 19 awards over the years, and we have made a consistent North Carolina product that customers love for nearly 10 years. We are in the process of finding a reputable company that can produce and distribute our salsa just as we have for nearly a decade.

We are continuing to sell the inventory we have on hand, and will keep our website online ordering page up-to-date with the flavors we have in stock. Also, many of our retail partners will have product on hand that we don't have in stock simply because we have done our best to keep them supplied.

We appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support. Our situation is stressful and heartbreaking, but we are hopeful. We will post an update as soon as we have an option that allows us to continue serving patrons like you who have made us successful!

Although we didn't win the Voters' Choice Award for our category this year, we are so appreciative of your votes that put us in the finalist round! We were competing against many other food businesses in our area that are larger than we are, and it is quite an honor to rank in the top five.
