Before there was Jones & Mack, there was Wallace Jones.

A man born in 1925 whose courage carried him across foreign battlefields as he provided vital supplies while serving in the U.S. Army’s 399th Quartermaster Truck Company during World War II, whose steady hands kept America moving as a truck driver after the war, and whose legacy lives on through the three girls he raised with quiet strength and steadfast character.

His fingerprints may never appear in the history books, but they're all over the family that followed and in the spirit of his grandson, James Penny.

The proof is in the bourbon. The purpose is in the people we're honored to remember.

Before there was Jones & Mack, there was Gertrude Mack.

A woman born in 1929 whose life was marked by service, from her work at the Naval Ordnance Plant to her lifelong sisterhood in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and whose greatest legacy lives on in the three children she raised with grace and resilience.

Her fingerprints may never appear in the history books, but they're all over the family that followed and in the spirit of her granddaughter, Brittany Penny.

May every glass poured today keep yesterday's sacrifices alive for tomorrow's generations.
