We got coffee @ home!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Another amazing way to reduce food waste and aid sustainability! The first slide is an amazing Dulce De Leche Latte I made at home with my coffee maker. The second is a White/Dark Latte with white and dark chocolate! Neither of these are glamour shots and not everything has to be! It’s all about being authentically you!

Vegetarian anyone?

Our goal here at Tai’s Kitchen is more than providing food- it’s also providing a safe and accepting meal to those on alternate diets! We have been cooking up some lovely marinated tofu (spicy garlic) with fried rice and corn ribs with some kimchi on the side.

Skip the fancy plating and just enjoy the food!!

“What’s the hardest thing about meal prep?”

Honestly… just getting started. 🫠
Especially when life’s busy and your pantry feels bare…That’s why keeping a stash of shelf-stable essentials. Think canned beans, rice, pasta, oats, canned veggies & proteins make it *so* much easier to build meals without stress.

And in Louisville, there are some great food resources that help keep those shelves stocked or give you a hand when you need it:
✨ **Dare to Care Food Bank** – large local food bank with pantry staples, produce, and support.
✨ **Sister Visitor Center - Choice Food Pantry** – community pantry offering choice food items regularly.
✨ **South East Associated Ministries** – emergency food + assistance support.
✨ **Eastside Community Pantry** – neighborhood pantry with essentials.
✨ **Loaves and Fishes Inc** & **Feed Louisville** – great orgs working on meals & food access in the community.

Keeping shelf-stable staples on hand helps reduce food waste and makes meal prep feel *easy* not overwhelming, plus you can always donate extras to help others too.

Meal prep feels a little lighter when we’re taking care of ourselves and each other. 💛
