Hey guys and ghouls! 👻🖤

We just wanted to take a minute to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our little business at Creepfest this weekend!

We practically SOLD OUT! 😭🖤 And honestly… that is NEVER a bad thing! 😂

We loved getting to see so many old friends and familiar faces, but one of our favorite parts of the whole weekend was getting to meet so many new people and make new friends along the way. 🖤 It means so much when someone stops by our booth, strikes up a conversation, laughs with us, or finds something they absolutely have to take home.

Every purchase, every kind word, every visit, and everyone who shared our posts or told a friend means more to us than you know. We’re just two mamas trying to build something we love, and getting to share our weird little creations with all of you makes every long hour worth it. 🖤

We had an absolute blast at Caufield’s and we are already looking forward to seeing all of your spooky faces again this December for the next show! 🎄👻🖤

🚨 Farm Stand Closure This Weekend! 🚨

Our farm stand will be closed Saturday, August 8th, and Sunday, August 9th because we’ll be set up in Louisville with our other small business, Ghoulish Goods & Soap Shop, at Caufield’s Creepfest! 🎃

Come see us for two full days of spooky fun at Caufield’s Novelty! We’ll have goat milk soaps, natural body-care goodies, ethically sourced oddities, taxidermy, and plenty of wonderfully spooky gifts.

Hey guys! I’ve had something on my heart lately.

When Amy and I lived in Northern Kentucky, I was a caregiver for one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met. She was seriously amazing. She knew so much about plants, had the best stories about all the countries she had traveled to, and we would sit and look through pictures from her trips. She also shared so many recipes with me.

I ended up getting sick, and the company fired me, so I never got to see her again. That was almost three years ago.

Last night, I was going through recipes trying to decide what to make for the farm stand this weekend, and I found her chocolate chip cookie recipe.

She owned and operated a Christmas tree farm in Northern Kentucky where they had cut-your-own trees, wreaths, and other seasonal things. Whenever the farm was open, she would make homemade chocolate chip cookies. People loved them so much that her recipe makes 112 cookies at a time!

And I’m not even kidding when I say I’ve never had a better chocolate chip cookie.

She had been on my mind, so I reached out to her son today. I got some good news, and now I can make her cookies this weekend with a happy heart.

The picture with this post is an old glimpse of the Christmas tree farm where these cookies were loved by so many people. I’m keeping her identity private, but I’m so excited to bring a little piece of that tradition to our farm stand this weekend.

I’ll have them in the farm stand this weekend, and I really hope y’all come try them. Honestly, if the only thing you buy from me is one of these cookies, I’ll be happy, because you seriously won’t find a better one.

Some recipes are more than just food. Sometimes they hold memories and little pieces of people you’ll never forget. ❤️

🐐🖤 Sheriff and Voodoo want to shout a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by and supported our self-serve farm stand this weekend!

Every loaf of bread, dozen of eggs, bar of soap, baked good, and every other purchase means more than you know. Right now, every dollar from the farm stand is going toward helping our family buy our home, so your support is making a real difference. We couldn’t do this without all of you!

We also wanted to ask how everyone would feel about us adding a “Pay What You Can” section to the stand.

We already price everything as affordably as we possibly can because we truly want everyone to be able to enjoy our products. At Ghoulish Goods & Soap Shop, we work hard to keep our handmade products reasonably priced while still covering the cost of materials and keeping the stand stocked.

We know that sometimes life gets hard, and there are families who would love to enjoy fresh eggs, produce, or homemade baked goods but simply can’t swing it that week. We never want anyone to feel embarrassed or go without.

This does not mean taking whatever you’d like without paying. We’re still a small family-run homestead, and the stand helps support both our farm and our dream of owning our home. Our handmade products like goat milk soap, laundry detergent, cups, and other merchandise would still remain full price.

If you’re truly in need of soap, laundry detergent, food, or another necessity, please send us a private message. There is absolutely no shame in asking for help. If we’re able to help, we absolutely will.

We have picklers, yellow squash, fresh tomatoes, and eggs available. We also still have a few homemade chocolate peanut butter bars and one bag of chocolate chip cookies left!

I have some homemade loaves ready to share:

🌿 2 loaves of Zucchini Bread with Walnuts

Since the ingredients were gifted to me, I’m gifting these loaves back out to y’all! This is a sweet little chance to try some treats from our farm stand and meet the people behind Two Mamas Homestead.

Everything is homemade with fresh ingredients and baked in a smoke-free, pet-free kitchen.

Also, I clearly had way too much fun with my new label printer. 😂 The breads aren’t in our normal bags because I’m still waiting on them to be delivered, but they are sealed up and ready to go!
