I’m Jeff Banning a self taught Artist and Wood Sculptor, who lives in Louisville Tennessee. I have experimented with many different mediums, but found my true passion when I picked up a chainsaw and began releasing what lied within the rings of the wood and bringing the wood to life. I use many different tools to finish the sculptures and can carve rustic sculptures to carvings that are completely

finished. I strive to deliver an affordable piece that the customer can be proud to display and own. I love the detail that can be created by a tool that is as powerful and destructive as a chainsaw removing what doesn’t need to be there and leaving what hides within.

I've been a chainsaw artist for over 10 years and just got back from Arkansas and competing in my 9th competition.

In the last 92 hours I have....

1. Driven 22 hours and 1300 miles
2. Been in 5 states
3. Helped Missouri lower it's possum population by 1
4. Carved 2 carvings in 15 hours
5. Helped contribute $1450 to charity from the sale of my carvings
6. Took top honors & 1st place prize money with a first place finish for my Saturday carving.

I am blessed for the support and encouragement to follow my passion
