I’m Jeff Banning a self taught Artist and Wood Sculptor, who lives in Louisville Tennessee. I have experimented with many different mediums, but found my true passion when I picked up a chainsaw and began releasing what lied within the rings of the wood and bringing the wood to life. I use many different tools to finish the sculptures and can carve rustic sculptures to carvings that are completely

finished. I strive to deliver an affordable piece that the customer can be proud to display and own. I love the detail that can be created by a tool that is as powerful and destructive as a chainsaw removing what doesn’t need to be there and leaving what hides within.

Excited to be part of the Birds of Prey exhibit at the Bennett gallery for the month of September as they hold a month long fundraiser for the Owl Ridge Raptor Center here in East Tennessee. I will have several sculptures displayed and available for purchase. I will post completed pictures of my sculptures available for purchase when they are completed. Part of the sales are going to Owl Ridge to help fund the wonderful work they do rehabilitating birds of prey. Please make plans to come down and support all the artists and the Owl Ridge Raptor Center. Bennett gallery is located in Knoxville on Kingston Pike.
