Scallops from Maine are top notch! These scallops are sought after by home chefs and professional chefs alike. The freezing cold, subarctic waters support a nutrient dense environment that fosters the scallop’s signature firm, but buttery texture. The salinity of the water also enhances the umami flavor found in scallops from this region. Small coastal scallop farms typically harvest or dive for these culinary treasures daily. This means they don’t spend time on ice with added phosphates while at sea. No phosphates mean you are getting 100% natural scallop meat! Pop into one of our 3 stores today to grab some delicious scallops for your mid-week meal!

AHI TUNA POKE BOWL for 4. The perfect summer meal! Make yours today with our always fresh tuna!
INGREDIENTS:
-2 lbs Ahi Tuna, cubed
-3 TBSP soy sauce
-1 TBSP sesame oil
-1 TBSP lime juice, freshly squeezed
-1 tsp rice vinegar
-3 green onions, thinly sliced (extra for garnish)
-1 TBSP toasted sesame seeds
Base & Toppings
-4 cups jasmine or sushi rice, cooked according to package
-1 large mango, peeled and cubed
-1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
-1 cup shredded purple cabbage
-1 cup shredded carrots
-Bonito Furikake seasoning
Drizzle
-1/4 Kewpie mayo
-1 TBSP sriracha
-1/2 tsp fresh lime juice
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, rice vinegar, green onions, and sesame seeds. Add cubed tuna into bowl and gently toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Avoid letting marinate for longer than 20 minutes, as citrus will start to “cook” the fish.
2- While tuna marinates, stir together the Kewpie, sriracha, and lime juice. Set aside.
3- Assemble your bowl. Place a scoop of rice in each bowl. Add cabbage, carrots, cucumber, and mango. Top with a generous portion of the marinated tuna. Drizzle with sriracha mayo mixture. Sprinkle additional toasted sesame seeds, Bonito Furikake, and green onions as desired. Enjoy!
