Here comes another 2500lbs of fresh Kentucky Proud popcorn straight from a Kentucky farm, that was just taken out of the silos and bagged for us.

We'll start popping this tomorrow and sending it out to a store near you!

So yes, when you buy a bag of Mr. G's, you know where the popcorn comes from and you know it's FRESH!

Unlike the big corporate brands, we don't have a warehouse full of popcorn waiting to be sent out.

We get orders in, we fill them the same day, and ship them out the very next day!

From the farm to the kettle, no other kettle corn, caramel corn, or movie theater popcorn is as fresh as Mr. G's!

Gooood morning everyone, it's fun fact Friday!

It's August, it's hot, it's humid, and we're sweating. But did you know a lot of humidity is generated by fields of corn and popcorn? 🌽 🍿
WHAT?

It's called "Corn Sweat" and it happens through a process called transpiration.

The corn stalks draw water out of the ground and is evaporated through its leaves into the atmosphere creating higher humidity levels.

In fact, just one acre of popcorn can release up to around three to four thousand gallons of water to the air!

Don't worry, harvest season is right around the corner, so the air should start drying up.

It was just popped and delivered, and made with popcorn that just came out of the silos this month! 🍿

So yes, it's FRESH! Probably fresher than a carton of eggs, or a bunch of carrots! 🥕 🥚 😂 Definitely fresher than a bag of chips or any other popcorn on the shelf.

Here's a little Friday Fun Fact for you.

As I was driving home from work yesterday I couldn't help from noticing all of the fields of corn that have popped up along the highway.

Do you know how to tell if it's regular corn or popcorn?

Just look at the tassels. If they are standing straight up, it's regular corn.

If they are hanging down, it's popcorn!

No you can't pop regular corn and you can't eat popcorn on the cob!

Now you know!!
