THE TALE OF THE FORGOTTEN BARREL
A Hometown Brewing Co. Happily Ever After 🍺🏰
Once upon a time, within the brick walls of Hometown Brewing Co., our brewery was graced with the presence of a noble man named Spencer, who had traveled from over yonder to join our merry little operation.
For many moons, Sir Ellis had searched the lands for a companion who could bring great joy, a little mischief, and unfathomable knowledge to the sacred art of brewing b**r.
At last, Spencer had arrived.
But alas… his timing was impeccable.
For the brewery was in a state of great chaos.
Ye Spent Grain had taken the kingdom by storm. The brewery grew more crowded by the day. Bags were stacked. Kegs were shuffled. Every spare inch within those brick walls had seemingly vanished.
Then, on one sunny day, Sir Ellis and Spencer embarked upon the noblest of brewery quests:
spring cleaning.
And that is when they saw it. Tucked away in a dark and lonely corner sat a barrel.
Forgotten.
Untouched.
Waiting.
“What might this be?” Spencer asked.
Sir Ellis peered toward the mysterious vessel.
“A very old barrel.”
Naturally, there was only one thing left to do.
Find out what was inside.
They approached cautiously and discovered something… potent.
Something powerful.
Something bold.
“Shall we take a sip?”
Sir Ellis hesitated.
But curiosity is a dangerous thing in the hands of two brewers.
A chalice was fetched.
The barrel was opened.
And after six long years of waiting, the forgotten treasure finally revealed itself:
A BOURBON BARREL-AGED STOUT.
They sipped.
They stared at one another.
They sipped again.
And there, beside that forgotten barrel, the two rejoiced.
“THIS IS TOO GOOD NOT TO SHARE!” Sir Ellis proclaimed.
And thus began the final chapter of our tale: bottling, preparing, and patiently waiting for the day this long-lost treasure could make its way into the hands of good people who love good brews.
That day has nearly arrived.

After six years in the making, the forgotten barrel is finally ready.
And they all drank happily ever after.
The End.
…or perhaps just the beginning. 👀🍺
Good people. Good brews.
