These KinderCrisp apples may be not picture perfect in the way that we are used to from the super market. But I know for the last 8 years they have never been sprayed with anything. The soil around them has only been amended with homemade compost and woodchips. If a big doesn't want to eat it.... do you?? These blemishes apples can't be stored whole but I have yummy applesauce cooking now.

I hope this isn't going to make you dizzy but this is a 3 year old bed that is 6 x 80 feet that I have been working on taming. The espalier aples and pears are a little older and have been neglected the last couple of years. But I am tempting to train them while fixing some mistakes. So cool what can happen in even a young food forest
