I’m like the turtle I just spotted in my parking spot! I recently returned home from an extended stay on a farm in Louisiana where I had the chance to really start looking at our food chain and nutrition. I’m a big bel...

As a person who deals mainly with plants and animals, I have to say, even with the super easy to use software I'm provided, I can waste hours trying to get things updated on the website only to somehow screw it up and lose everything I just did.

I am not a tech gurl.

But I did manage to get some cuttings started for the nursery early this morning.

As it's officially ragweed allergy season and I've heard for years the misconception by people who live in terror of allergies:

It's planting season again! I've been back from Louisiana a month now. Having returned home and landed my rv (garden witch!) in Indiana on a new homestead, I've been returning to my many previously installed gardens, getting everyone in shape for a glorious fall.

In my time away, I've shifted focus to natural health and the uses for the many beautiful plants I've been growing for years. I no longer see landscapes as just beautiful. I'm thinking what can you grow to help you address your personal health issues.

If you could grow your own medicines and treat your health naturally, would you? I can help.

Only 2 days left to work before i pack up the rv and bring my business back up to my home base area. I'll be building out yet another farm in Indiana this time.

This place has been one serious learning curve, zone 9b SW Louisiana but back in 6b I have lots of people to bring my new skills back to.

And of course, i'm bringing plants with me!

Today was a lovely foraging day. I made 1/2 gallon batch of mimosa tincture and later i dug up a patch of echinacea. Now i'm starting a comfrey & yarrow ferment.

And i got in a river with the dogs.

So all went well!

From seeds in Feb to in the ground and harvesting already. We've been hyper focused on getting the soils replenished here. Lots of mixed crop beds.
