Big Brew Day 2026 is officially in the books — and let’s just say… the bar has been set 🍻

We joined brewers nationwide for Big Brew Day, and the Weizguys showed up ready to make a statement! Huge thanks to everyone who brewed, shared knowledge, lent equipment, and kept the energy high all day long. And of course, shoutout to Blake for hosting and making it all happen.

Now the hard part begins… waiting for these b**rs to be ready to see whose is the best and will go on to represent us in the Weizguys Big Brew Day Comp

🍻 BIG BREW DAY IS COMING 🍻
Join us May 2 as we celebrate Big Brew Day, the annual nationwide event from the American Homebrewers Association—bringing brewers together across the country to share knowledge, community, and great b**r.
📍 Blake’s House
📅 May 2
This isn’t just a brew day… it’s part of a national tradition. Every year, homebrewers everywhere fire up their systems on the same day—often brewing official AHA recipes together. Past recipes have included everything from easy-drinking classics to award-winning heavy hitters like last year’s Big Blimp Barleywine 🍺
🔥 WHAT WE’RE DOING
• Brewing together as a club
• Encouraging collaboration
• Creating entries for the Weizguys Big Brew Day Competition
🏆 ABOUT THE COMP
We’ll be brewing b**rs that can be entered into the Weizguys Big Brew Day Competition, where:
• Clubs compete using official Big Brew Day recipes
• Up to 3 entries per club (1 per recipe)
• All b**rs must be brewed on Big Brew Day in a group
• Entry fees go to charity
• Winning clubs get featured in Zymurgy Magazine
This is your chance to be part of something bigger—brew day + competition + community impact.
Whether you’re chasing medals or just here for the vibes, this is one of the best days of the year to brew.
