It’s a mournful day at Cross Creek Alpaca Farm — our beautiful Miss Wella, the matriarch of our herd, peacefully passed on to greener pastures.

Wella was the most elegant. I called her the “Grace Kelly of Alpacas!” In her prime, she was an exceptional show girl and her offspring were gorgeous — especially Malia, a stunning girl who took first place in every ring — she was a joy to show!

Miss Wella was a proud mama and I was proud to have her on my farm. She spent her many years calmly, quietly, elegantly grazing — showing off her grace and beauty.

This is how I will always remember her.

Rest in peace Wella.

You were a cherished member of my herd.

It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our companion and trusted farm dog, Bella.

Our beautiful girl, with fur white as snow and the sweetest disposition — who never wavered from her charge, has peacefully left this earth.

Bella fearlessly protected her herd of alpacas and flock of chickens, no matter what the weather was – holding her post right up to the end!

We will never forget our loving ole gal and her spirit will forever reside at the highest point of her farm, watching over it… always.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's Alpaca Encounter & Fall Market! We had an amazing turnout, with both familiar faces and new visitors, making it our best event yet. The weather was absolutely perfect, and we loved sharing the alpaca magic with all of you. We are so grateful for your support and can’t wait to see you again!

Mark your calendars—the next Alpaca Encounter & Holiday Market will be on Saturday, November 30, 2024, after Thanksgiving on Small Business Saturday. We hope to see you there!

Despite the windy weather, we had a wonderful time welcoming you to our alpaca farm and sharing information with you about these amazing animals. We're so grateful for your support of our farm.
