We're thankful for the rain, (more than 2" in the last couple of days), but also thankful it stopped raining! We're definitely ready for some warmer weather because our seedlings are ready to get out of the greenhouses and into your gardens! We won't have much for seedlings this Saturday, but, we're on the move to have things ready for Monday! It takes so much planning and time (especially the drive from our off grid farm on a bunch of really awfully bumpy roads!π¬)... but we're on it!
In the meantime, enjoy our Saturday market that's loaded with the freshest greens....bok choi, joy choy, vit green choy, Chinese cabbage, tatsoi, baby kale, red snapper spinach, amazing arugula and the yummiest salad mix! It's gonna be a wicked hot week so stock up on these delicious greens and some tortillas for easy meals!π₯¬ We've got scallions, leeks and if you love cilantro, we're offering some and other fresh herbs and microgreens too!
We're still offering potatoes, onions, garlic, and definitely plenty of beef cuts, pork, whole chickens and eggs. We've got raw milk, yogurt, butter and cheese. You could skip the big box grocery store and just eat locally (and healthy!) this week!
Try it and I bet you will save money!
And then, there's the baked goods..... croissants, rhubarb oatmeal cookies, cowboy cookies, rhubarb coffee cakes (spring is really happening now!), lemony yogurt cakes, and Justin's sourdough breads, flatbread and bagels..... English muffins and more!
Not too many cut flowers because we're giving our all to getting seedlings ready! Check out the strawberry baskets (please buy one and then eat the berries!), and the gorgeous petunia and lobelia baskets(β€οΈπ« )
See you Saturday 10-6!
I've got lots to do!π
