I started a fire in the big greenhouse last night to keep the baby salad greens a little bit warm so they can grow. The low was 22° but it got down to 32° in there. There was already frost by the time I got home from the market and the girls and I were hustling to get some extra cover on things. Justin pulled all the cabbage, and we banked it. The apples are all picked and we're getting ready for winter!

Here I was thinking I'd have way less flowers..... silly me! There's still lots of beautiful blooms looking and smelling wonderful.
There's also a terrific amount of veggies coming in...
Potatoes, sweet potatoes, broken diakon 😅, radishes, salad turnips, zen blend, pea shoots, onions, shallots, micro greens, CARROTS, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, boc choi, arugula and more!
Our sourdough breads and bagels, tortillas and English muffins, flatbreadd and terrific cookies, carrot cakes and cranberry scones will keep you fueled. Justin made another batch of c***r today, so come on over and enjoy!
I've restocked teas, lip balm, tallow balm and some jams (pepper jelly is in! 🙂) and more than I can list!
Don't forget our delicious dairy.... and we're waiting on a baby cow...due any minute! 🤞🏼

Last week I really thought I'd have fewer flowers this week due to several cold nights, but it turns out I got them through and now there's just SO MANY!
Hoping you want to get the last of the dahlias and bring them home and enjoy or give them to someone who needs a little extra happiness! Let's spread some extra love this week- it's been tough for a lot of people in our community.❤️💔❤️‍🩹 Sending so much love to such a dear family.

We're bringing our regular amazing baked goods - sourdough breads, bagels, plenty of cookies (time for pumpkin!), and carrot cakes and scones! The girls have been baking a bounty!
Justin made C***R again and has some gorgeous potatoes ready! We've got the straggler sweet potatoes ready and onions, shallots, garlic, CARROTS, a few brussel sprouts and salad, arugula and more than I can actually list!
That means you have to come and see what we've got!

Since it's really October now, and next week looks like it's going to freeze at night, I decided to pick the last of beans and go for even the little squash and zucchini! Enjoy it because it's going to be gone!
We're testing sweet potatoes and hopefully they are sweet enough.... it's just the beginning of them! There's arugula, jenns zen blend, kale, collards, carrots, potatoes, onions, shallots, garlic, a little red snapper spinach and a whole bunch of other stuff!
Definitely check out our sourdough breads, bagels and English muffins, flatbreads and cookies! ( Pumpkin debut!)
This will definitely be the last of the dahlias, glads and other summer flowers! Soak em up!

This is our last Wednesday Market of the season!
It's hard to believe that our season of 2 days a week has come to a close. We're still harvesting lots of flowers... dahlias too!🥰 , cauliflower, cabbage, short -and - sweet carrots, Chinese cabbage, boc choi, purple pac choi, apples, super late peaches (crunchy and juicy!), summer squash and zucchini, salad mix, arugula and potatoes! There's the most delicious Greek yogurt and fresh and frozen chickens! We've got plenty of garlic (for planting or for eating, and for decorating!😁 Braids make excellent gifts!))
The first sweet potatoes will be ready for Saturday (not tomorrow... sorry!)!
We've still got so much to catch up on, and I am really looking forward to an extra full day of work on the farm!
We just want to THANK YOU!, everyone, for so much support for our 2 days a week Market! You make US work to be as good as we can be because you keep coming back!
And we'll keep coming back...on Saturday!😂

Ok, so I didn't take very many pictures today, and my morning was busy with wedding flowers (🥰), and here it is getting late!
Well, there is terrific sourdough breads and flatbreads, and granola from the wood fired oven and there's lots of goodies from the sweet bakers.
Potatoes, onions, shallots, cabbage, boc choi, Chinese cabbage, salad mix, arugula, a small amount of spinach, amazing Flowers (despite a FROST Tuesday night)! Beef is back, plenty of chickens, eggs, yogurt and more than I can remember! Back to work.

So long summertime! We're certainly feeling the change of seasons tonight! The moon is rising, the greenhouse is all lit up for arranging flowers and it's cozy for the curing sweet potatoes and chicks. It's hard to believe it's already time to get ready for the Wednesday mini-market!
Justin pressed lots of c***r today and it'll be available tomorrow. We're also bringing a load of garlic so you can start thinking about planting some in the next month or so.
Peaches may have to wait until the weekend, and hopefully they won't catch a frost!🤞🏼
But, there's plenty of other delicious fruits...pears and grapes, apples and some tomatoes.....
Jenn's Zen blend, kale and boc choi! Zucchini and summer squash are near the end, but we've got potatoes and plenty of beef in the freezer!
This could be one of the last big weeks for flowers, and we've got some potted mums!
Open 10 to 6.... and then there's only one more Wednesday after tomorrow!🙏🏼❤️😊
