It's a cool rainy night to gather, wash, and pack everything up for our Saturday market, but it's so nice there's minimal bugs and the greens are so amazing!
It's the green time for sure - red snapper spinach, spinach, kale, chard, arugula, boc choi, purple pac choi and beautiful, bountiful Asian greens.
The flowers are fantastic, there's scallions and onions, and salad mix!
The baked goods look fantastic, as a hungry late-getter-homer, everything looked amazing! Come by to see what the girls made for snacks....I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
I compacted the seedlings due to the weather, but a lot is under cover, so check out our plants! If you don't see what you are looking for, ask us because we have been holding back on lots of things until the weather is warmer!
We are open 10 to 6!

With sooo much going on today, I forgot to really get good pictures, so I got a few late ones!
The plant stand is very open! Despite some very cool overnight temps, things look great, and as soon as the nights warm up a bit, you can plant everything out! Stop in to see how much you can fit in your car! πŸ˜‰

The farm stand is also open and jam packed with sooo many delicious and delightful greens, including: salad mix, spinach, red snapper spinach, kale, chard, bok choy, pac choi, vit green, arugula and Chinese cabbage! I could be forgetting something....
We've got lots of fantastic flowers and baked goods, but I gotta get back to work so I can be ready. Come in to see what we've got!
Open 10 to 6!

We're thankful for the rain, (more than 2" in the last couple of days), but also thankful it stopped raining! We're definitely ready for some warmer weather because our seedlings are ready to get out of the greenhouses and into your gardens! We won't have much for seedlings this Saturday, but, we're on the move to have things ready for Monday! It takes so much planning and time (especially the drive from our off grid farm on a bunch of really awfully bumpy roads!😬)... but we're on it!

In the meantime, enjoy our Saturday market that's loaded with the freshest greens....bok choi, joy choy, vit green choy, Chinese cabbage, tatsoi, baby kale, red snapper spinach, amazing arugula and the yummiest salad mix! It's gonna be a wicked hot week so stock up on these delicious greens and some tortillas for easy meals!πŸ₯¬ We've got scallions, leeks and if you love cilantro, we're offering some and other fresh herbs and microgreens too!

We're still offering potatoes, onions, garlic, and definitely plenty of beef cuts, pork, whole chickens and eggs. We've got raw milk, yogurt, butter and cheese. You could skip the big box grocery store and just eat locally (and healthy!) this week!
Try it and I bet you will save money!

And then, there's the baked goods..... croissants, rhubarb oatmeal cookies, cowboy cookies, rhubarb coffee cakes (spring is really happening now!), lemony yogurt cakes, and Justin's sourdough breads, flatbread and bagels..... English muffins and more!

Not too many cut flowers because we're giving our all to getting seedlings ready! Check out the strawberry baskets (please buy one and then eat the berries!), and the gorgeous petunia and lobelia baskets(❀️🫠)

See you Saturday 10-6!

I've got lots to do!πŸ˜…

There's some wonderful things for this week...
Mother's day is Sunday (in case you forgot), and we have some special things in mind. We've got some special bouquets, and awesome hanging strawberry baskets with ripe berries....oh! and our beef is in...(and that means steaks!) This is a hint for a meal plan for mom...steaks, roasted parsnips, Jenn's zen blend -
the salad flowers are so beautiful, and the salad is so delicious! Desert is easy because we've got yogurt cake and if you get one of those strawberry hanging baskets with ripe berries, you can put those on top with a dollop of maple yogurt! (Do you think my kids will have a good idea for me?πŸ˜‰)πŸ˜‚
Anyways, we've got a terrific amount of greens....baby kale, arugula, red snapper spinach, bok choy, purple pac choi, vit green and Chinese cabbage (so good as an Asian slaw!)
We still have potatoes, leeks, onions and garlic, scallions and so much more!
I'm bringing a few flats of flowers, but stay tuned for next Monday the 18th, as we really start getting plants set up! We're still waiting for the weather to be warm!🀞🏼
Don't worry, we've got sourdough breads, and bagels, English muffins and yummy cookies... and eggs, sausage, and yogurt!
Open 10 to 6πŸ™πŸΌπŸ€©
See you soon!

The scorpio full moon is messing with me. I wrote a whole long post about everything we're bringing and it disappeared. So now it's really late and you're going to have to come over and see for yourself!

Strawberry baskets for mother's day (a few early ones available) and so much beautiful, tasty, juicy delicious greens, flowers, cookies and more!

April has given us some interesting weather so far. We had 80Β° and just a few nights later it was 17Β°! Despite the highs and lows, we have flowers....some in a vase and some in pots to give you spring smiles!
The sweet potatoes and other potatoes are hanging on, parsnips too... and the pea shoots look great! A few other micros, but I got behind a bit 😐, so better next week!
It's definitely green time though!!!
Spring mix, purple pac choi, a bit of red snapper spinach, pac choi, tatsoi, vit green and fun jen Chinese cabbage (yes, that is why I started growing it- I wanted to be fun!πŸ˜‰)! Check out the delicious braising greens mix (you can also eat it as a chopped salad with a maple poppyseed dressing!πŸ˜‹)
Sourdough breads, flatbreads, bagels and English muffins, yogurt cake and carrot cake, cowboy cookies, and really, a whole lot of yummy treats.
We have ground beef in stock, pork (did you know we have ham hocks and ribs?), and a few fresh chickens and frozen available this week!
We've got milk, eggs and butter, yogurt, and Greek yogurt!
Garlic and herb sea salt blends are back and so is the popcorn blend!
Hoping you will stop in and say hello!
I've been thinking about a few of you who've not been by in a bit, and am hoping you are well!

We're open 10 to 6 🀩

Today's summery feel had us scurrying..... lots of watering of seedlings to do, and harvesting and washing greens! Luckily we got potatoes and sweet potatoes washed yesterday..... these are reaching the tail end of the season- we're getting to the ugliest ones, but they still taste yummy! Parsnips again too, and spring leeks and scallions... Onions and garlic are holding, and we're just starting to get into early greens! We've got spring mix, braising greens, tatsoi, purple pac choi, Chinese cabbage and vit green and lotsa microgreens! Everything tastes sooo good- toss it into a balsamic -maple poppy seed dressing or toss it into a stir fry with parsnips!
We're bringing our special baked goods too! It'll probably be the last of carrot cakes since we're just about outta carrots, but there's gingersnaps and cowboy cookies, cranberry scones and more!
Yogurt, butter, eggs, pork, beef and chicken...
I've only got a few flowers available (I am cursing voles this spring 🀬... they have been into soo much!). C'est la Vie!

We're open 10 to 6! 🀩
We'd love to see you!
