Creamy Cajun Garlic Chicken with Parmesan Rigatoni
• 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
• 12 oz rigatoni pasta
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1/2 cup chicken broth
• 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
• Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
• 1 tablespoon butter
• Fresh parsley and a sprinkle of fresh thyme leaves for garnish
• Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon zest
