Important announcement: 2018 has been a challenging year, we lost Hall of Fame to colic at the age of 29 and as some of you might be aware, I’ve been battling breast cancer. 2019 I’ll be having surgery and will be concentrating on beating this cancer, which I will do! But it will make it difficult for me to continue to serve our clients for breedings to Sempatico.

We are happy to announce our partnering with Birch Creek Farm in PA to handle the promotion and standing of Sempatico for the upcoming breeding season. Birch Creek Farm will offer collections 7 days a week and shipping Mondays through Fridays. Collections costs are $150 which includes a container, shipping is at cost with credit card or shipping account on file with Birch Creek Farm. Contact information is as follows:

This morning we lost my beautiful boy to colic. RIP Hall of Fame, you where magnificent. I was blessed with you for 29 years. You where from Art Deco's first foal crop and you accomplished many "firsts" throughout your life. You could win is dressage with high scores into the 70% and win Championships in the hunter ring. You compiled an impressive show record in dressage, hunters and jumpers. Besides your father you where one of the first pinto Warmbloods to be life time approved Oldenburg/ISR, RPSI, Oldenburg Verband. You where the true epitome of the modern sporthorse. At your stallion inspection for ISR/OLD you where the high score stallion (out of twelve) at Hill Top Farm earning a star award. At your RPSI inspection you received a 9 for jumping! You where always a gentleman and a mamma's boy, I will miss you.

July 28th, we will not be shipping due to a family memorial service. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you think you might need to breed over the weekend please order on Thursday the 27th.

Unfortantly we are closing our breeding shed a couple of weeks early this year - I broke my ankle, have a grade III sprain and pulled a ham string, so am pretty much laid up. If you are still looking to breed this season, we are willing to collect later, but I need a week or two more to heal. I am really sorry for the inconvenience, I have always prided our operation on our customer service and making sure your mares get pregnant. Again I'm so sorry and please call me if you have questions about your breeding or shipping this season.

The passing of another great horse that brought Warmblood breeding where it is today in the US.

On June 25th Parabol was humanely euthanized at Hilltop Farm due to declining health and age-related complications. While our hearts our heavy with this loss, we choose to focus instead on the thirty remarkable years Parabol had.

Parabol was the Champion of his 100-day Performance Test with the outstanding overall score of 140.38 points. A successful jumper in Germany, Parabol easily transitioned to the dressage arena after his purchase by Jane MacElree. He was the 1991 USDF Horse of the Year at Third Level and a Top Ten Finalist for the 1995 Pan-Am Selection Trials before developing into a successful Grand Prix horse with both Scott & Susanne Hassler. Approved by multiple breeding associations, Parabol’s influence has been significant and he has an approved stallion, multiple Premium/Elite mares, and high-level competitors in dressage, hunters, and show jumping to his credit.

Parabol’s most profound impact however was on those who worked with him daily. In Parabol’s presence you felt the depth of character, the generous nature, and the charisma that made him a truly great horse. It’s been an honor to have him in our care for so long and we’re grateful for each day we had with him.

I'm heart broken to announce the passing of our beloved foundation stallion Art Deco. He was 30 years old and has been an outstanding individual. He seemed to be in good health and today was fine, ate all his breakfast, hay and was acting like his good old self. I found him deceased when I went to do barn chores this evening. His passing seemed peaceful, I'm assuming a heart attack. I acquired him when he was 4 years old from Anne Gribbons who imported him from Holland. He competed through Grand Prix level with rider James Koford and was the first pinto Warmblood stallion in the USA to be approved into the main Warmblood books. He has sired 100's of approved offspring and will live on through his get. He was the basis of everything I have done with my horses and breading program, I am heart broken, but am thankful that he live a long and happy life and that his passing was peaceful. I will be writing up (hopefully with the help of friends, since I am a horrible writer) a tribute and formal announcement for him in the next day or two.
