We have are tarp moves down to a science. It almost feels like we are in hyperlapse 😂
In reality, it took just under 30 minutes to clean the space and then move the tarp into place.
Next we plant!
We are hiring! As we get ready for the coming season, we are looking to add 1-2 more farmers to our team.
If you are someone who loves working in the outdoors, eating good food, and working in a fast paced/positive environment, please DM for more details. We have some exciting things planned for this coming season and look forward to expanding our team with a couple of outstanding team members!
We have thousands of seedlings growing in the greenhouse. Crazy to think it’s already that time of year again!
Over the next two months we will be transplanting all tons of plants-getting them into the ground where they will continue their life until they’re ready for harvest. These little seedlings will in a few months be making the journey to our Harvest Club members’ homes. This year our summer season Harvest Club membership starts mid May and ends in September, and we have some pretty exciting things planned for this year!
The farm, just before the first frost.
Wow! What a season it has been! I am so thankful for everyone who has been a part of it!
It’s crazy to think back to three seasons ago...
As I stood under the Ash tree next to the driveway after stopping to wipe sweat from my brow, my mind and heart could stop racing with all the possibilities that getting to care for this plot of land would bring.
You see, I have always wanted to farm. Since I was a young kid, I have jumped at every chance I have had, to manage, or create, or to somehow leave the land better than I found it.
It’s been three years of hard work, but it has been worth it. At the start of this season, when Everything was shut down, it threatened to shut down the farm as well, but my team rose to the challenge, and we ended up not only meeting the challenge, but persevering and excelling through it all!
Thanks to all the support from chefs, team members, harvest club members, and friends, we provided food to over 150 families and 10+ restaurants per week!
We love growing good soil! Here we work hard to improve the soil every year.
This year we took over a few more acres and the first thing we did was to plant this cover crop of
This will help improve the life in the soil and feed the honey bees — all while making for many beautiful sunsets!
The quietness of the evening after a long day’s work is so satisfying.

harvesting sugar snap peas.
It’s amazing what can happen if you just keep chipping away at something.
This is our third season on the farm. I started in 2018 with just a weedy field, filled with overgrown thistle, bindweed, and all kinds of other unpleasantness. But I had a spark in my eye and a hunger to make the prettiest farm in .
With a lot of work and a ton of help from friends and family, we are seeing a huge difference. Thank you to all who have supported me and my dream! I could not have done it without you 😍
We at are always focused on building great soil. And what better way than to add chickens!
The simple fact is. You can’t get top quality produce without having too quality living and breathing soil.
Going forward, these beauties will be fed a combination of non-gmo grain feed and scraps from the garden and fields—creating some of the highest quality eggs for our Harvest Club Members.
They will continually be moved to fresh pasture and help create new beds for our farming methods. I can’t wait to show you all the premium soil these chickens will make!
The tomatoes are coming in strong and we couldn’t be happier!
The plants are loaded down with these beauties which are looking so healthy and tasting so delicious thanks to the caring management of
The chickens are here!!!
...and look at that view from their office:) We are so excited to add chickens to our management system. They will be making some nice compost and producing quality eggs at the same time.
They won’t be jut ordinary eggs either. We will be feeding them some amazing vegetables along with their non-gmo feed.
First cherry tomatoes of the season!
They are so good! I can’t wait to share them with our customers.

Yesterday lead the way and and I helped to plant flowers in a few beds around the farm.
This is going to look amazing y’all. We are aiming to not only have the healthiest produce in but the prettiest farm as well!
You should see the planting design that Rachel decided on — it looks amazing!

First tomatoes are in the ground! We have over 500 plants in the ground, quietly growing out what will be some of the best 🍅 in the region.
We also have planted tons of lettuce, scallions, and bok choy, and today we plant more salad turnips and radishes. I can’t wait for all the goodness that is coming in just a few weeks!

It’s exciting to be back at the !!! This market is very special to me. Back in 2014, I used to work for and come sell at this market. A lot of good memories to remember and many new ones to make!
Thanks to and for all your help!
I love having more space to keep my greens growing all winter long!
Well, we did it! We just put up another high tunnel at the farm and I could not do it without these two and a bunch of others.
I am just a bit late in posting this because I haven’t felt like doing much else while the project was going on. Trying to keep the farm going while undertaking such a large project is a lot of work and maybe just a little (read a lot) bit stressful 😬
But now that the two layers of plastic are on, I can breath just a little more. There is still plenty to do but now I can sleep at night even on the nights when the weather is gusty outside.
Thank you to .z.reiter Tanner, Nikki, Brandon, and so many more for your help!
Fall and winter vegetables are coming along nicely 😍
What are your favorite cold season veggies?
Using the to crimp my buckwheat cover crop. It was the perfect tool for the job!

It’s amazing how fast time flies when you’re having fun! Side note: walking through the door, in and out of the greenhouse, never gets old. It always feels like you’re walking into a whole different world.
At this time of year we are busily flipping beds to eat them ready for fall/winter crops.

September days 😍. What is your favorite time of the year and why?
It’s hard for me to pick between spring and fall. I love the fall because you have beautiful days with the hint of the oncoming winter. These are the days that, as I work, I reminisce about the summer. Questions like, “What went well?” “What can I improve?” Go through my mind, and already now, I start to anticipate the coming spring that is half a year away. But it’s always filled with excitement-knowing I get to try this farming thing out yet another year!
Just a few more days until the farm dinner! I’m so excited to share the farm with those of you who can make it! Thank you all for all of your support!

If you haven’t had a chance to reserve your spot, there are still a few seats left. {link in bio}
For those of you who have wanted to come to a dinner but you’re already busy this weekend, DM me and I’ll make sure to let you know when our next dinner will be.
At some point in your life you should definitely try my brother ‘s cooking. He inherited my mom’s skills in the kitchen:)
Had an amazing crew for our harvest yesterday! Thank you

So...probably a lot of you are wondering where all the pictures are from the first dinner here at the farm are. Well, due to the extreme heat wave that came through we decided to postpone it and schedule it for better weather.
Good news! The new date is August 24! We can’t wait to see you and hope you all can join us! I’m really excited as a farmer because all of my fall crops are getting planted and will be in nice straight rows (hopefully:) for you to see during the farm tour that evening!
