Painted Turtle Hard Cider, Ice Cream, Food & More! The Market features our family grown Michigan apples and we carry local seasonal produce like blueberries, strawberries, sweet corn and peaches. At our Café you can find a variety of sandwiches, Certified Angus Beef hot dogs, chicken tenders, fries and so much more. We work to accommodate gluten and dairy free diets as we

ll. Top it off with a sweet treat from our Ice Cream Parlor! We serve Hershey's hand dipped ice cream as well as soft serve ice cream. We make milkshakes, flurries, sundaes, floats, old fashioned sodas and more! Gluten free and dairy free options available! Browse the shelves in our Farm Store and take home local farm raised beef, local raw honey, real Michigan maple syrup, all natural jams, salsas, sauces and dressings, local goat milk soap and you can pick up some a variety of grocery items. Try a flight or pour of our very own Painted Turtle Hard Cider or take home a growler or can. Wander through the BarnYard and experience up close and personal visits with our animals May-October. This is the reality of farming. Standing in your pajamas, watching a storm roll in, praying for your crops. This is not always a glamorous profession, and unfortunately, it is often out of our control. Farmers can spend season after season preparing, planning, and working endless hours, for the possibility of a crop to be wiped out in a single weather event.

Tonight, we have the biggest concern for hail. It will bruise our apples and damage leaves, opening them up for infection. When the storm passes and the sun comes up, the morning will be spent driving to all of our farms to assess the damage, if any.

Until then, we ask for you to think of your farmers and say a prayer. These nights are never easy, but with coffee, family, and support from our community, they are just a little bit more bearable. We will keep you all updated.

We officially have an update on our u-pick apple orchard!

Thanks to the wonderful team MSU Extension, we have *predicted* harvest dates for apples in west Michigan. These are not exact, but can give us a rough idea when to expect peak ripeness in each variety.

Due to the weather this spring and summer, apples are looking to be ready sooner than normal. As always, we will keep you updated on what is available to pick and when. (Varieties listed on this spreadsheet do not reflect all varieties available at our farm)
