It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved "Chiggy". Peruvian Chili Chigua BR22 was 3 years old when we bought her at Brant's (Twin Lakes) herd dispersal sale in 2008. She is the last llama we had left from that sale (we bought 8!). She would have turned 21 this August. 3 years ago, we took a 4 generation photo with her & her family tree. Because she was "Chili" Chigua, we began naming all the llamas in her lineage with pepper names.... Sriracha, Cayenne, Peppercorn, Piquillo, Fatalii. Mom loved to bring apples to share with her. She will be greatly missed as she was a staple in our barn for so long! 💛🌶🫑🦙

SALR Rockapella was born on Saturday! She's the first cria of our SALR Carmen SanDiego & her sire is Ben Carothers guy Roxywood's Caramel Macchiato. She seems to be a dark charcoal gray for now, but time will tell! Can't wait to get some pics of her this week as she starts to really explore the pasture.

SALR Tandoori exceeded our expectations at her first show! She got 4th place in a class of 17 juvies at Spring Showcase! Can't wait to see how her show career pans out. She is the firstborn cria for both her dam (SALR Blue A Kiss) & sire (ERF's Katie's Pandemonium). And she's sooo sweet too! 🦙😍
