Looks like the forecast is for rain on Saturday. The cows don't mind it, but our freezer and generator don't like it at all. So..... we won't be at the River City Farmer's Market tomorrow or the next week. We will be back on July 18, restocked with ground, patties, and steaks. All your summer favorites!

We pulled out this morning at 5:30 a.m. to take 9 beeves to the processor. We left so early because the alternative would have been to have dropped them off last night. That would mean they would be in a small pen overnight with no grass and no space to lay down. We think that it is important for our animals to have their last night "at home" be a good one, in their own pasture with grass and space. So we have a cup of coffee and get moving early!
