Interested in free-ranged chicken? I will have several Heritage Meat Birds available this Friday. These guys are let out in the morning, given a bit of chicken feed, and let free range the rest of the day. Let me know ASAP if you're are interested, I only have a very few. They will be professionally processed and bagged.
A "Heritage" chicken is just your standard ol' chicken like your grandmother may have made for chicken dinner. They may not get as big as the Cornish Rock (your standard grocery story chicken, pumped full of antibiotics), but they will make up for that in taste!
My birds are not fed chemicals or antibiotics.
Pricing: $2.50/lb with a max cost of $10, plus $3.50 for processing (that's how much it costs me to have them done). So the most you'll pay is $13.50 for a 4lb or more bird. This is a test run, but I'm going to guess the birds will weigh 3-6lbs.
