Spiral Path Farm is located in scenic western Perry County, PA, between the Tuscarora and Blue Mountain ranges. Near the town of Loysville, our family farm consists of 255 diverse acres that have been under our care since 1978, and on which we grow a wide variety of vegetables, fruits and herbs. Spiral Path Farm’s goal is to provide the best tasting, freshest, and highest nutritional value food we

can grow, while maintaining the land in a fertile, non-toxic state. Spiral Path Farm is certified organic and food safety certified.

At Spiral Path Farm, we care deeply about educating future generations on sustainable agriculture 🌱 That’s why we were so excited to sponsor Perry County Ag Day this year as another opportunity to share the work we do and why it matters!

Hundreds of local 3rd and 4th graders joined us for a day of learning — for some, it was their very first introduction to where food comes from, while for others from farming families, it was a chance to explore different types of agriculture beyond what they see at home.

Will encouraged the students to get outside, not be afraid to dig in the dirt, and to carry a lifelong love of learning. Bethany introduced the kids to our vermicomposting worms 🪱 and shared some of the vegetables that were featured in last week’s share boxes 🥕🥔🧅

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect with the next generation and help cultivate a deeper appreciation for the land, food, and farmers who care for both. 🌎

So happy to see the first green strawberries beginning to form! And under the gorgeous sunshine warming our valley☀️ We grow all June bearing varieties here on the farm so in just a few weeks, we’ll be enjoying their sweetness🍓🍓🍓
