In the spring of 1775, America was on the edge of war. The battles of Lexington and Concord had already been fought. Ordinary men had taken up arms against the most powerful military force in the world. Nobody knew
what came next.

Our founders understood something that is needed today--prayer.

On 12 June 1775 the Continental Congress issued a call to prayer asking citizens to pray for forgiveness, for wisdom, and God's blessing. Similar to Daniel's prayer in Daniel 9.

America's founders understood something that is true today as it was in 1775--Some moments are too large for human wisdom and strength alone--we must appeal to Heaven.

We just dropped off two new flavors of jam --Strawberry Vanilla Bean and Fig.

Strawberry jam is from strawberries we grow on our farm. The figs are from my brother's trees in the Texas hill country.

Go by their place any time....just not in the snow.

Just looked at the forecast and it made me think of Chili and a camp fire!

Are house is divided on beans or no beans! But one thing we are not divided on is using our grass fed and finished beef makes the chili amazing!!

Farm store is open today until 7! Swing by and pick yourself up some chili meat and ground beef!!
