This is becoming one of my favorite Olive eggs. It has a textured bloom that feels rough. Her mom was a brown laying Starlight Green Egger with the same type of bloom. Dad is my O/O rooster. I was hoping this was the type of egg I would get from them.

I just got through telling my niece at church that I was tired of baby chicks and then this happened 😂 🤦🏻‍♀️. Meet the Appenzeller Spitzhauben. Sometimes the dots can line up just right making it look like they are white with black hearts. That head p**f is the best though!

Meet Elvis (yes, she’s a hen but look at that hair). She just laid the first egg in the Jordan Coop (all blue egg layers). She is a frizzle sapphire jewel and so pretty! She lives with a lavender cuckoo Ameraucana rooster. Should make for some interesting babies in the future.
