CLARA LIVE 🔥🐄Tuesday Barnburners – Records Falling Across the Plains 🏆📈

February 24, 2026 delivered widespread top-tier feeder cattle sales across multiple barns. Beaver County Stockyards (Beaver, OK) posted its highest 5-weight in barn history with 76 head at 534 pounds bringing $540.00, and added the fourth- and ninth-highest 7-weights ever recorded with 700-pound steers at $416.00 and 710-pound steers at $410.50. Fairview Livestock Commission (OK) set new barn records in the 8- and 10-weights and added third-highest marks in the 6- and 4-weights. Kingsville Livestock Auction (MO) recorded its second-highest 9-weight along with top-10 finishes in the 7-, 6-, and 5-weights, while Lolli Bros (MO) posted the third- and fourth-highest 6-weights and a top-10 5- and 7-weight.

Fredonia Livestock Auction (KS) set the highest and fourth-highest 4-weights in barn history and added strong 6- and 5-weight rankings. Four State Stockyards (MO) established a new all-time high in the 8-weights and another top-three 8-weight, plus sixth- and seventh-highest 5-weights. Ozarks Regional Stockyard (MO) posted its second-best 9-weight and the highest 9-weight draft over 100 head, while also claiming first- and third-highest 5-weights and a top-10 6-weight. Flint Hills Stockyards (KS) set a barn record in the 7-weights and added second- and fourth-highest finishes in the 9- and 8-weights.

OKC West (OK) marked its highest 7- and 4-weights on record with additional top-three 4-weight finishes. Welch Stockyards (OK) set a new all-time 7-weight record and added another top-three 7-weight and a top-five 8-weight. Unionville Livestock Market (MO) posted the top four 9-weight sales in the country that day, ranking fifth through eighth all-time in barn history, underscoring the depth of strength from 4-weights through 10-weights across the region.

CLARA LIVE📈 Top Steer Prices by Weight Group 🐂 – January 20, 2026

On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, strong prices were reported across all steer weight categories, with each weight class posting standout highs. In the 300–399 lb category, 12 head at Beaver County, OK averaged 385 lbs and sold for $667.50/cwt. The 400–499 lb group was led by Knoxville, IA, where 10 head at 412 lbs brought $605.00/cwt. Kingsville, MO topped the 500–599 lb range with 39 head at 513 lbs selling for $557.50/cwt, while the 600–699 lb category saw Miles City, MT lead the way at $530.50/cwt for 59 head averaging 638 lbs. Among heavier weights, 10 head at 736 lbs from Philip, SD brought $422.50/cwt in the 700–799 lb group. Atkinson, NE had the top price in the 800–899 lb range at $374.50/cwt for 112 head averaging 829 lbs. Unionville, MO led the 900–999 lb class with 64 head at 900 lbs selling for $360.50/cwt, and Beaver County, OK posted the highest for 1000–1099 lb steers, selling 46 head at 1,072 lbs for $312.50/cwt.

🔥🏆 Unionville Livestock Makes History: 20 Barn Records & National 9‑Wt High 📈🐂

Unionville Livestock Market (Unionville, MO) kicked off 2026 with one of the biggest sales in its history, setting an incredible 20 new barn records on Tuesday. The standout moment came with a draft of 63 head at 905 lbs bringing $375.00, setting not only a new barn record and Missouri state record, but also tying for the 6th highest 9-weight sale ever recorded in the United States. That group was part of a powerful run that included 891–895 lb cattle selling from $376.35 to $379.00, now ranking as the top four 8-weight sales in barn history.

The 7-weight division was just as strong, with 739 lb steers hitting $388.00, a new barn record and one of five new entries in the all-time top ten. Lighter weights followed suit, as 534 lb steers brought $520.00, setting a new 5-weight record, while 434 lb calves hit $562.50, the highest 4-weight ever at Unionville. It was a truly record-setting day that earned Unionville both statewide and national recognition.
