It doesn't look like much right now, but this is the 2024 pumpkin patch, freshly plowed today. The top portion (east) will be the sunflower rows. We plan on matching some of the pumpkin rows with sweet corn and beans, which will be mostly for family consumption. Also planning to plant Indian corn, gourds and squash.

The seeds for the 2024 Pumpkin Patch have been ordered and will go into the ground next month. We are expanding the Patch this year to include a larger variety of pumpkins, plus gourds, squash and sunflowers! We will have our annual Pumpkin Patch Party on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Our pumpkins are now on sale at Berndt Hillside Farm, US 31 and Fountain Road!

The Alway Pumpkin Event is happening Sunday, October 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will have pumpkins for sale, hot dogs and local apple cider, and wagon rides around the East 40.

Directions: Johnson Road, 1/4 mile west of Amber Road. Look for the tractor. If you go up the hill you’ve gone too far.
