Thank you all so much for your support regarding my announcement the other day-i haven’t had a chance to respond to all the comments and messages yet,but i will!
Just to clear up some confusion-i am still taking VERY limited orders until 9/1. I’m going from 200+ cookies a week(on top of working full time😬) to about 2-4 dozen max. Overstretching myself has been a disaster,so as i wind down I’m scaling back to ensure the orders get the attention they deserve and my shoulder doesn’t freeze up and fall off 🫠
I’d also like to mention that there are some EXCELLENT cookie artists in the area and you’d be in great hands with them!

*****IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*****
PLEASE READ!

First,i just want to take a moment to thank each and every person who has taken the time to order from me since i started Bookah Butt Cookies. It has been an unbelievable experience,one that i never saw for myself in a million years.

Most of you know that this business is named after my late nephew,Jadyn. Since he passed away i have thrown myself into cookie decorating,not leaving time for much else.
When you are grieving,you find anything you can to distract yourself. It works great until it doesn’t. I am completely worn out,physically but also mentally. I’m a people pleaser so I’ve wanted to keep going even after i started to work in my chosen profession of childcare.

I think i knew in my heart it wasn’t tenable long term,but i wanted to try.
What has resulted is even more stress and burnout. I’ve had to cancel orders,which despite what people think,i don’t take lightly.
As much as love the decorating aspect,the prepping,baking and all the admin are just too much for one person at this point. As I’ve stated before i have no desire to open a bakery or travel around selling my cookies. It’s just not who i am.

So it is with a grateful(and sad) heart that i will no longer be taking custom orders for any date after September 1st.All current orders will be fulfilled,and i do plan to still bake for family and friends,just not on the scale i have been. If there is an event after 9/1 that you were hoping to book,please reach out ASAP.
I am willing to do an order here and there,i just cannot work at the pace i have been.
I will also try to do holiday pop up sales if i am able,but i haven’t looked that far ahead yet.
