It was absolutely cookin’ yesterday! ☀️🔥

I guess summer has officially arrived, which means us fluffy ladies are shifting into low gear… like low low!! You'll find us spending more time in the shade, and conserving our energy until the temperatures decide to be reasonable again.

So if you see us sweating and panting a little after only a few steps. Mind your own business. 😅

We’re thinking about adding a new mineral to the girls’ diet to help keep them a little more comfortable during these hot summer days. Has anyone used the DuraFerm Heat products for their sheep and noticed a difference?

We’ve used the VitaFerm Heat product for our highland cows and were really happy with it. I can’t say for certain how much it helped with the cooling, but the mineral itself was excellent quality. The cows looked fantastic on it and did really well overall.

Would love to hear any firsthand experiences before we order some!

About two weeks ago, we pulled a handful of our girls off grain because I was convinced they were getting a little too chunky.

Turns out they weren't all fat. 😅

The euphoria these sheep bring is hard to put into words!

From our big, beautiful adult ewes to this surprise little lamb, every day with this flock feels like a gift. Watching them grow, thrive, and fill our pastures with life has become one of the greatest joys we've ever experienced.

We fell in love with showing sheep last year, and we're counting down the days until we hit the road again with some of our flock this season.

We love these woolly little creatures more than I know how to convey in a little caption. 🤣

People always ask if the horns are scary… let’s just say Egg uses them as handlebars for her cuddles. 🥹

These sheep are more than livestock around here. They’re gentle, patient, affectionate, magical creatures that we adore. They’ve become Egg’s very best friends on the farm!

After being on the road for over two weeks and then some, this little girl was beyond excited to be reunited with her lamb. 🤍

These two have the sweetest little bond. Egg clearly has a good eye for nice things because I’ve had my eye on him for the keeper pen from the start… and apparently she beat me to claiming him.

HVV No String Attached may have just met his forever boo.

…although my keeper pen has a very negotiable price tag. 😅
