I am really bad at this social media updates thing. So here are some photos from last year. Just wanted to give you a heads up for the 2026 forecast.
Work on the 40 acres continues. The ground work is a slow process. I have the whole front area which is alittle over 3 acres all ready to be planted as pasture. I would love to have some pig pens up for the next batch and have them being raised over there this year.
The cows are currently at my house for the winter. On Dec 28th I hauled the first cow to the butcher to finally have beef for sale. This was an older cow that wouldn’t produce offspring and kinda hard to handle so it makes handling the rest of the herd much
The goals for this year are
Get the firs feild planted and fenced
Get pig pens up and pigs out to the new property
Finnish the pole barn up
Continue cleaning up the logging debris for more fields
Goals if I ever get ahead
Have a pond dug
Start a market garden
Sell lamb chops
